Gelato spoons

Ice cream is a delicious, creamy treat that just about everyone loves to eat — especially in America. In fact, around 90% of all households enjoy the stuff on a regular basis.
Whether it’s served in ice cream cups or on tasting spoons, there’s no wrong way to enjoy it. But have you tried thinking outside of the ice cream cups lately? Here are three unconventional ways to enjoy ice cream and gelato that will have you licking your spoons!

Put it in a Sandwich
Sure, ice cream sandwiches are common, but there are many ways to jazz up this atypical ice cream combination. For example, bake your own chocolate chip cookies, assemble your sandwich with your ice cream of choice, and dip the whole thing in melted dark. Then, roll them around in chocolate chips, sprinkles, and whatever toppings suit you. Place on a parchment lined sheet and freeze for at least an hour.

Put it in an Apple
It’s no secret that apple pie and ice cream go together like a dream. But have you thought about putting your ice cream inside of an apple? It might sound crazy, but it is certainly delicious! To start, cut an apple in half, carefully removing the seeds. Then, slather your apple in lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and honey, and bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Once it’s ready, place a hearty scoop of vanilla ice cream inside, and drizzle with the juicy drippings of the baked apple.

Fry It
Frying ice cream is a delightful yet unconventional way to enjoy the cold creamy treat. To fry your ice cream, first scoop out individual scoops and freeze as is for an hour on a baking pan. Next, take crushed cookies, 2 TBS sugar and crushed cornflakes and combine in a bowl. Lightly beat 2 eggs. Then put the scoop of ice cream in the crumb mixture, then the egg mixture, and back into the crumb mixture. Freeze again for two hours minumum. Meanwhile, heat three inches of the canola oil. Once ready, gently dip the ice cream into the oil and fry on all sides until golden brown.
