To remove any dirt or grime from the patio surface, apply pressure. If there is any paint on the surface then it must be broken up using an hand grinder. The concrete is then acid-epoxyed by the firm to make it ready to be used as the next layer.
The acid is washed away before the concrete can be mixed together. The concrete is then poured onto the ground, and then spread over the area using an Magic Trough. An additional worker is standing with a pump spray or water hose to get the concrete as it’s being distributed.
In order to begin designing the pattern The pattern is created by running a line across the middle patio. The line will be the basis for is the remainder of the layout is constructed around. There’s not measuring, just creating lines that form the squares to create a beautiful slate design.
When the pattern is done, the darker cement is mixed before being able to spray on concrete. The paint only covers half of the area, and then is evenly distributed with an individual hand trough. Once the mixture has dried for about an hour, the tape will be removed to reveal the new pattern.
