Amazing Guacamole Sandwich Recipes You Have to Try

It’s a common problem. You’ve got too many fresh guacamole dips, and have no idea what to do with them. Sure, you could save them all, but why would you want to eat all that guacamole on its own?

Fortunately for you, it turns out that there are some really amazing guacamole sandwiches out there that can help you chow through all your leftovers. Here are just a few awesome recipes.

Turkey and Guacamole Sandwiches. – First things first, you’re going to need your leftover guac, eight slices of whole grain bread, four plum tomatoes that have been cut into four slices each, two-thirds of a cup of alfalfa sprouts, half a cup of thinly sliced red onion, a quarter-cup of chopped cilantro, and eight ounces of turkey. Spread your guac on the bread, and then top each slice with tomato, sprouts, onion, cilantro, and turkey. Lastly, serve.

Tomato, Cucumber, and Guacamole Sandwiches. – To make these amazing summertime sandwiches, you’re going to need your leftover guac (of course), some wholewheat bread, thick slices of tomato, a couple cucumbers sliced, about eight thin slices of red onion, and some cilantro. Spread your guac on the bread first, and then put about five tomato slices on the bread. Then, add your cucumbers, pressing lightly. Cut the sandwiches in half, and serve. These sandwiches are particularly good to bring on a picnic with you, and can be prepared up to three hours ahead of time.
